When a quarterly audit is enough
Not every offline tracker needs a full import workbook — signs that a lighter audit fits better.
A full workbook is heavy medicine. If your accountant is not asking for an import file this season, a Quarterly Record Audit may be the better spend.
Good candidates for audit-only
- Folders that look tidy but have not been checked by a second person
- New cold-wallet holders who want a habit review after three months
- Desks that already have a prior workbook and only need to know if the new quarter’s slips are complete
When to upgrade to a workbook
Year-end filings, ownership changes inside a family office, or a bookkeeper who refuses free-form notes are the usual triggers. If you are unsure, the intake form lets you select “Not sure yet” and we will recommend a path.
